Training to become a Food Technology Assistant (m/f/d)

We offer you

safe, interesting and varied training in a well-organised, highly successful family enterprise in the growth market of frozen foods.

You will apply your technical skills to setting up, implementing, monitoring, operating and repairing the product equipment and also look after the production process for the different frozen gateaux and cakes. You will ensure that the necessary ingredients are provided for production. Following specific recipes and procedures, you will start the production process and monitor the processing steps, e.g. mixing, heating, foaming, freezing and packing.

As a responsible person, you will look after quality control for interim and end products. Gain a first insight into the world of gateaux and cakes during a student internship.

Pfalzgraf is a slice of the Black Forest.

As as genuine family company, we produce exclusively in the Black Forest - 100 percent made in Germany. We intentionally prioritise regional products and producers because we want to use sustainable solutions.

We meet our responsibility towards the environment and society by having one of the most state-of-the-art, resource-friendly production facilities in Europe, a place where handicraft and high-tech meet.

The training

  • Dual training takes three years.
  • Set-offs and reduced hours are possible
  • Production, packing, quality assurance, technology and maintenance.
  • Ultramodern, computer-controlled facilities and machines through to robot technology

College

All our teaching units have a link to practical applications. That's why trainees are taught theoretically across the whole range of food production (dairy products, refreshments, meat production, baked goods etc.). This retains a close link to reality through project work. The topic can involve producing a product not available on the market, from development through to marketing.

The professional college lessons take place at the Peter-Bruckmann School in Heilbronn.

After your training, it is highly likely that we will offer you the opportunity to stay on.
